Welcome

Welcome! This blog was created as a place to share interactions and reflections with the Word – both the second person of the Trinity, the Logos, Jesus, and the word of God, Scripture.

One of Martin Luther’s contributions in the Reformation is Sola Scriptura. Sola Scriptura teaches us that Scripture alone is our highest authority.

Tradition, experience, church mothers and fathers, and other areas of life are important and teach us about Jesus and our faith, but Scripture needs to be the highest level of authority in our lives. Everything else – tradition, experience, and the Church – are aides in our knowledge and understanding of the text, but they are to be tested against Scripture and to be found inline with its truths.

I love Scripture. I love Jesus. I invite you to come along with me and interact and reflect on your love for Scripture and Jesus.
